Provo has more adults who grew up playing soccer than any city in Utah County, and every August a few thousand more arrive with the university. Most of them want a real game on a weeknight and none of them want to run a league. That is the gap Local FC fills.

Provo's pool is unusual in two ways. It is young, with a large share of players in their twenties who played high school or club soccer and stopped only because nobody organised anything after graduation. And it turns over: people finish degrees, start jobs, move up the valley. A league that depends on one organiser breaks under that churn. Ours does not, because the roster, the field booking and the substitute offers are all automatic. When a player leaves, the next cycle simply rebalances.
Kickoffs are weeknight evenings, 5:30 or 6:00, on full-size fields. Provo is one of the few cities in the county with several lit fields, which is why later starts are possible here once a venue with verified lighting is secured. Teams are balanced on self-rating, positions and attendance, not on who knows whom, so a first-year student and a forty-year-old defender end up on the same side more often than you would expect.
If you live near the Orem line, pick both cities. Players who count toward two queues help both activate sooner, and the game you are placed in will be the one that forms first.

Provo's soccer scene runs on pickup: the same faces meet at the same fields most evenings from spring to October.

No. It's a one-time, non-refundable fee that holds your place while your city's league forms.
Can I switch divisions?
Yes, at the end of any 4-game cycle. Your rate updates on the next billing date.
Do students and non-students play together in Provo?
Yes. Teams are balanced on self-rating, positions and attendance, not age or student status. Choose Competitive if you want the faster pace; the Amateur division is where most mixed-experience games happen.
