Positions you can play, an honest self-rating, whether you want amateur or competitive games, and the furthest you'd travel. This drives team balance, so generous ratings hurt your own games.
Pick your areas and your evenings
Choose every city you would happily play in — you count toward all of them. Then mark at least two days you're free with a real time window. Kickoffs are 17:30 or 18:00; later starts only happen on fields with verified lighting.
Pay $1 to hold your place
The fee creates your paid registration and puts you in the queue for your areas. It is non-refundable and does not guarantee an immediate game. It is separate from membership and not credited toward it.
We wait for two teams' worth of people
An area activates when it has enough compatible players for two teams of 15 (at least 11 each), overlapping availability on at least one evening, compatible skill levels, a realistic shared kickoff, and acceptable travel for most people. Your dashboard shows the progress.
We book a field
Our field agent sends nearby venues one clear request — days, times, format, duration, weeks, headcount, lighting, insurance, budget — and tracks replies. Anything ambiguous goes to a person. Nothing is booked over our spend limit without one.
Teams are formed and 4 games are scheduled
Two balanced rosters, one game a week at the same field and time where possible. Everyone gets the schedule immediately; if a time is still provisional we say so before it locks. No uniforms: each game one side wears white and the other dark, alternating so it's fair.
Tell us Playing or Not Playing
We ask a week, three days and a day before game time. Two answers, changeable until game time. If you don't confirm, we plan without you: two hours before the game your spot is offered to a sub — and you're still welcome to come, sides adjust to whoever shows. Games always run.
Absences get covered
When a side is short, eligible players nearby are offered the spot in a fair order — fewest extra games first, quick responders next. First to accept plays. And anyone can simply walk in to a nearby game: up to four extra per side, both shirts in the bag, placed where needed at check-in.
A game captain runs the night
Anyone confirmed can volunteer. If nobody does, an eligible attendee is picked at random, weighted so the same people are not always chosen. You can opt out permanently.
After 4 games, teams rotate
The captain submits the result and any incidents. Attendance and conduct records update. New balanced teams are generated for the next cycle, with last cycle's teammates spread around.
What you never have to do
Find ten friends. Ring a parks department. Argue about who's captain. Chase people in a group chat. Split the field fee. Redo the teams when someone quits.
