Step one for every player: join the queue

One dollar holds your place while your city's league forms. It's non-refundable, it isn't credited toward membership, and it doesn't guarantee an immediate game. It reserves your spot and keeps the player pool honest. You pay nothing else until you've actually played.

How it works

  1. Pay $1, hold your place

One minute. Non-refundable, not credited toward membership, no immediate game promised. It puts you in the queue for your areas.

  2. Pick areas and evenings

Choose every city you'd play in and the days you're free. You count toward each area you pick.

  3. The queue fills

An area activates when two teams of 15 are possible with overlapping evenings and compatible levels. The meter on this page is that progress.

  4. We book the field

Our field agent sends nearby venues one clear request and tracks replies. Nothing is booked over budget without a person.

  5. Teams and 4 games are scheduled

Balanced rosters, one game a week, same field and time where possible. No uniforms: white or dark, alternating.

  6. Tell us Playing or Not Playing

Two answers, changeable until game time. Miss the ask and your spot is offered to a sub two hours before kickoff. Games always run.

Payson is far enough south that the Provo and Orem leagues might as well be in another county. If adults here are going to play on a weeknight, the game has to form in Payson.

The queue below is how it forms. One dollar, your evenings, and a meter that shows exactly how many more players it takes.

Who's already in the Payson queue

1 paid players count toward Payson today, against 22 needed for two full teams. Status: Collecting players.

Opening a market in a smaller city works differently from filling one in Provo. The meter starts low and moves in visible steps, and the first twenty-two players decide the evenings and the level. That is why the early sign-ups matter: the queue's availability data sets the kickoff days, and the self-ratings set whether the first cycle is Amateur, Competitive or mixed.

Payson has more open field space per resident than almost anywhere in the county, including a large park system and school fields that sit empty on weeknight evenings. Once two teams are possible, our field agent sends those venues one clear request and books the best answer under budget.

Payson, Salem, Elk Ridge, Woodland Hills and Santaquin are one player pool with several front doors. If you would drive ten minutes, tick every one. A Payson player who also counts toward Salem is the reason both meters move, and the first cycle will be wherever two teams appear first.

Candidate fields: Payson Memorial Park (central Payson, large open grass); Payson sports park fields (multi-field site on the edge of town). Candidates, not bookings.

Around town: Downtown (Main Street and Memorial Park); East bench (toward the Nebo Loop road)

Payson's adults play in the summer softball and pickup soccer traditions of a small town; a scheduled league is a first.

Many Payson players also select the areas next door. Counting toward more than one makes a game near you form sooner.

Questions

Q1

When am I charged the membership?

Only after your first completed game. Waiting in the queue costs exactly $1, ever.

Q2

Is the $1 refundable or credited?

No. It's a one-time, non-refundable fee that holds your place while your city's league forms.

Q3

Can I switch divisions?

Yes, at the end of any 4-game cycle. Your rate updates on the next billing date.

Q4

How many Payson players does it take to start?

Two teams of eleven, so twenty-two paid players with overlapping evenings and compatible levels. Selecting neighbouring cities as well lets a Payson player be placed sooner if Salem or Spanish Fork fills first.
